    A quote that inspires me
“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.”
    -John F. Kennedy

JFK basically said that PE is the most important subject guys. I’m just saying. ;-P
    Hobbies
I like to run. I have ran two marathons and a bunch of half marathons. I taught myself how to sew and I now sew for fun…. No, I do not want to hem or fix your clothes. I make quilts and i also make purses, handbags, etc. I sew for the people i love soooooo if you have one of my creations….. wellllll….. do the math. 🙂
Who was your favorite teacher and why?                                                               My favorite teacher was Ms. Takanuchi. She was my history teacher in High School. I was not interested in other classes tbh, but her class intrigued me. She had all the patience in the world for me, and her teaching style fascinated me. I indulged in the subject with such desperation that it completely changed my schema of school. I now enjoyed it and wanted to learn more. I wanted to submerge myself in learning history so much so that i went to college to major in it. Once in college i realized that not everyone teaches like she did. I found myself uninterested with the history classes and made the difficult decision to change my major to kinesiology. It was then that i decided that if i was going to be a teacher that I was going to do my best to teach with dignity and respect, and that’s what i strive for everyday in my class.
I think all of my students should read…
    Harry Potter….. Best Series Ever!
What advice or words of wisdom would you offer to students?                    My babies, please please please, when you grow up, make every effort to do what you love. If you accomplish that then you will not work a day in your life. I love my job. I love you guys. I live a great life getting to know all of you. You guys are my gift. When you guys reach junior and senior year you all ask me how i have so much patience for the freshmen….. they drive me nuts too, but remember that we were all freshmen once; Freshmen navigating through a new chapter in our lives. It wasn’t always easy so i try to remember that every time i get a sassy boy or girl….. Lord knows i want to go ham but i don’t because i am a good person… hahah..
    Who is/are your hero(es)?
My Mother is my Hero. I adore and worship the ground she walks on. She made every difficult sacrifice to allow me to be in the position i am in today. I’m in tears just writing about her.
